Bone Thugs Rapper Layzie Bone's Finger Nearly Bitten Off

In one of the more bizarre accounts of artist/fan interactions, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's Layzie Bone almost lost a finger on Saturday when an irate fan tried to bite it off during a scuffle. According to a source close to the group, Layzie, Krayzie and Wish Bone were in Palm Springs, California, to perform at a club and before they could even get to the venue, the show was canceled. Bone's camp said police intervened, fearing gang violence, but a spokesperson for the police said that was not the case and that if the show was canceled it was because the promoter did not obtain the proper permits from the city.

Rae told me about this last week Friday at the movies and I didn’t believe it, but I was going through today’s paper when I cam across this article:

LONDON (Reuters) - A 16-year-old girl was arrested on Friday after a "happy slapping" attack on a teenager which was filmed on a mobile video phone, police said.

Becky Smith, 16, was knocked out and suffered temporary paralysis when she was attacked near her Manchester home.

Greater Manchester Police said a girl had been arrested after she went to a police station voluntarily.

"A 16-year-old girl from Blackley was arrested today on suspicion of assault," a Greater Manchester Police spokeswoman said.

The girl has been released on police bail.

Youths filmed the attack on May 9 on a mobile phone - a craze known as "happy slapping". While Becky Smith recovered in hospital, images of the attack circulated around her school.

Archie Herring of Seattle just missed winning this week’s huge $130 million Mega Millions lottery jackpot, correctly guessing five of the six numbers drawn but missing the all-important Mega Ball number. Herring, 68, played his five-number combination on 10 separate tickets, each one good for a second prize of $175,000, or a total of $1.75 million. Herring brought his winning tickets into the Washington Lottery’s Seattle office Wednesday and walked away with a check of $1,312,500 after taxes.

This one is really funny..but it's also sad.

BOSTON - A judge denied a 94-year-old woman’s attempt to force the Massachusetts Lottery Commission to pay her entire $5.6 million winnings up front on grounds she otherwise won’t live long enough to collect it all.The ruling means the commission can pay Louise Outing, a retired waitress, in installments over 20 years worth about $200,000 annually after taxes.

I mean..come on. In this case, you can't really laugh without feeling a lil bit of sympathy. This little old lady will be 95 in 2 months. She'll probably keel over before she's even had 5 payments.

I can pitcure her perfectly: A small old lady, soft spoken. She's the only senior citizen on the entire block and all the parents come to her to babysit in emergency situations. Never once has she turned any of them away. When she isn't babysitting for the neighbors, she's watering her plants or watching re-runs of M*A*S*H and Jeopardy.

Poor Little Old Lady....But the story is still pretty funny...LMAO!!
